I was also raised in church my entire life, so the only friends I had were the ones in my youth group. In a nutshell, my life growing up consisted of school, music, church, and animal rescue. Things finally started to look up once I went to college, but at the time I was a very conservative and was heavily involved in church activities. It wasnt till the end of my first year that I started getting curious about the real world. For the next 3 years of my undergrad, I went to a professional opera school, and if you know anything about the classical music business, its very competitive and cut-throat, so not an ideal place to make friends or get a full college experience. :(
Going to a college was totally my parents idea. I really didnt know what I wanted to do with my life after I finished my undergrad, plus I didnt feel I had a say in the matter at the time, so I simply went along with my parents wishes.
